Jeremy Martin advanced to the championship round of the 2009 Northern Kentucky Golf Associaion’s Men’s Amateur at Lassing Pointe with a 3 & 2 win over Phillip Russo. Martin tees off on Thursday at 7:40 am with Brian Marsh, Jason Fryia and Eric Fuldner. Also in the final eight of the championship flight are Chris Morris (defending champion), Mike Schuh, Curtis Ruberg and Rob Clarke. The championship flight will play 36 holes stroke play on Thursday.
In the second flight, Zach Wright advanced to the finals with a 1 up win over Paul Loveless. Wright is joined in the finals by Don Niehaus, Doug Taulbee, Randy Wilburn, Tony Johnson, Mike Arthur, Russell Daniels and Justin Jolly. The second flight will play a final 18 holes stroke play on Thursday.
In the first flight, Michael Camacho fell to Dan O’Brien 2 & 1.
